Program Description:
SECURE 2.0, passed in 2022, added more than 90 new provisions to the retirement law landscape. This presentation will provide a recap of a number of possible planning opportunities for clients covering new contribution options/requirements, distribution types that did not previously exists, changes to the RMD rules and new generous tax credits for plan sponsors of retirement plans.

Grant joined Compensation Planning Inc., a local TPA (Third Party Administrator) that services 1,000+ small business 401(k) and Defined Benefit/Cash Balance plans, in 2012. Prior to that he worked at multiple TPAs and at IBM where he offered consulting to the IRS.
Grant holds a B.A. in Economics from Bates College and is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses program. He also holds ASPPA’s (American Society of Pension Planners and Actuaries) CPC (Certified Pension Consultant) credential and is an ERPA (Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent) with the IRS. Grant is Past President of the FPA of RI and a current Board Member of EPCRI.
